What is Determiners in hindi : Determiners वो शब्द होते है जो वाक्य में संज्ञा से पहले आते है। ये संज्ञा के बारे में अधिक जानकारी देते है।

जैसे –

• I am talking about that boy. (मै उस लड़के के बारे में बोल रही हूँ।)
• This table is old. (यह टेबल पुराना है।)
• I love my mother. (मै मेरी माँ से प्यार करता हूँ।)

इन सब वाक्यों में boy , table , mother ये नाम है। उनके तुरंत पहले जो शब्द आये है वे determiners है। Determiners को हिंदी में निर्धारक कहा जाता है क्यों की वे इस बात का निर्धारण करते है की किसके बारे में बताया जा रहा है।

Types of Determiners​

determiners ४ प्रकार के है।

1. Articles ( a, an, the)​

Examples:

1. I need the book.
2. He is an angel.
3. I love a flower.

2. Demonstrative ( this, that, these, those)​

This, that, those, these इनका determiners के तोर पर किस तरह से प्रयोग किया जाता है ये देखते है।

this – यह , ये (एकवचन)

• This book is new.
• I like this bike.

that – वह , वो (एकवचन)

• That boy is so clever.
• I want that doll.

these – यह , ये (बहुवचन)

• These flowers are blooming.
• He gave me these gifts.

those – वह , वो (एकवचन)

• Those people are wondering.
• I found those pens in cupboard.

3. Possessive (mine, your, his, her, their, its, my)​

उदाहरण –

• I like your nature.
• My sister is in USA.
• Their friends argue with me.
• Its name is nice.
• His parents are caring.

4. Quantifiers​

Quantifiers संज्ञा की मात्रा (amount) के बारे में बताते है। कुछ quantifiers नीचे दिए गए है।

few – थोड़ा, कुछ (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे हम गिन सकते है )

जैसे –

• Few animals are live.
• There are few strokes remaining.

some – थोड़ा, कुछ (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे गिना सकता है और जिन्हे गिना नहीं जा सकता )

जैसे –

• Some plants are green.
• He wants some rice.

less – कम (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे जिन्हे गिना नहीं जा सकता )

जैसे –

• I have less money.
• She gave less water.

little – थोड़ा (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे जिन्हे गिना नहीं जा सकता )

जैसे –

• We want little milk.
• They poured little sand.

any– कोई, कुछ (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे गिना सकता है और जिन्हे गिना नहीं जा सकता )

जैसे –

• I don’t want any mess here.
• Is any sign of sickness?

more – ज्यादा (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे गिना सकता है और जिन्हे गिना नहीं जा सकता )

जैसे –

• He is more serious.
• I have more pebbles.

many – कई (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे हम गिन सकते है )

जैसे –

• He visited many sites.
• I am working on many projects.

much – ज्यादा (ये determiner उन संज्ञाओं से पहले इस्तेमाल किया जाता है जिन्हे गिना नहीं जा सकता )

जैसे –

• He has much time.
• I took much efforts.

whole – पूरा

जैसे –

• This whole world is mine.
• I want to eat whole apple.

half – आधा

जैसे –

• Give me half mango.
• I can cover half distance.

quarter – एक चौथाई

• Give me a quarter spoon of sugar.
• He can eat a quarter watermelon at a time.

full – पूरा

जैसे –

• Today I saw full moon.
• Complete full notebook.

enough – काफी

जैसे –

• This is enough dose for me.
• You have given enough speech.

each – हर एक

जैसे –

• Each room is well decorated.
• I got answer for each question.

every – हर कोई

जैसे –

• Every boy is present.
• He is ready to work at every time.

both – दोनों

जैसे –

• You both brothers are same.
• I called both policemen.

several – कुछ

जैसे –

• I want several mangoes.
• He gave me several advices.

most – सबसे ज्यादा

जैसे –

• He is one of the most good people.

Important to know​

Determiners संज्ञा के तुरंत पहले आते है। This is the book which I wanted.

इस वाक्य में ‘this’ के तुरंत बाद कोई संज्ञा नहीं है इसलिए यहाँ ‘this’ ये determiner नहीं बल्कि demonstrative pronoun है। pronoun और उसके प्रकारों के बारे में यहाँ पढ़ें।
